Ladies Group - Meetings are discontinued until further notice
The Ladies Group meet fortnightly on a Tuesday at 14:00 in the Parish Church Hall. There are approximately 28 members. We begin our meetings by lighting the candle, saying the Candle Prayer and the Ladies Group prayer followed by a decade of the Rosary. Throughout the year we have a day trip usually in the summertime. We have a pre-Christmas meal at the Beaches Hotel as well as a Christmas party in the church hall. We have a Lenten retreat which this year was at the Augustine Priory, Old Colwyn. The theme of the day was 'Being with Jesus in the Wilderness'. Attached are photographs of the centre-piece upon which we focused during the meditation sessions and of the ladies with Sister Mary who led the retreat.

O Lord, we come together in love and friendship.
Give us the strength to be open-minded and charitable in all we do and with everyone we meet.
Help us to have courage when life is hard and make us strong to bear adversity; to see the good that is in everyone; to recognise when someone is sad or in need of help and to love one another as you love us.
